The Demon King has suddenly appeared in Saitama, and humanity may be doomed. Revived with enough power to destroy the world, the ravenous Demon King is confronted by three unlikely descendants of the legendary Heroes: a young woman, a young man, and a middle-aged salaryman. Unfortunately, none of them possesses the strength necessary to defeat her. Humanity does, however, have one weapon powerful enough to stop the apocalypse: Japanese food. The Demon King may want to destroy the world, but it's difficult to concentrate on annihilating humanity when she's being introduced to miso ramen, gyoza, manju, and countless other delicious things she's never tasted before. And so the descendants of the Heroes are given a new mission. Forget defeating the Demon King. Just keep feeding her. As long as her stomach is full and there's another delicious meal waiting around the corner, perhaps humanity can convince the Demon King that destroying Japan would be an enormous culinary mistake. Their gastronomic defense of the world begins in Saitama, but the situation becomes considerably more complicated when additional Demon Kings begin appearing elsewhere in Japan, each bringing another potential apocalypse and another appetite that needs satisfying. From cheap local comfort food to regional specialties, humanity's survival now depends on proving one simple fact: this world is far too delicious to destroy. A reverse-isekai gourmet comedy where the ultimate weapon against the forces of darkness isn't a legendary sword, but finding somewhere good to eat.
